Royal Reminiscences - Seniors and More
Seniors and More hosted a Jubilee event at Noble House. It was a fantastic morning.
Pat shared her memories of camping out in the Mall to ensure she and her friends had a front-row seat to see the newly crowned Queen. Others shared their memories of the day too.
We watched 2 videos about the Queen; one showed part of her Coronation and the other her life and faith in Jesus.
Stella and others had supplied fascinating memorabilia and photos; Stephen tested our powers of observation with a quiz about Royal stamps, coins and notes. So fun and informative!
And to end the morning Stella gave a wonderful talk about the meaning of the word ‘Jubilee’ from the Old Testament, culminating in how the ultimate ’Jubilee’ - ‘freedom from sin and restoration’ - can now be found in our Saviour Jesus’. Praise God for all His wonderful blessings!
